Police are urging the public to keep away from Broadlands Road in Tauhara following a fire in the area, reported around 2.45pm.
Conditions are very windy and dry, with emergency services actively working at the scene to bring the fire under control.
Please delay travel or to stay clear of Broadlands Road to East Taupo Arterial / State Highway 1.
