Police can confirm one person has died following a crash earlier this morning in Waitaki.
About 8.10am, Police were called to a single vehicle crash near Happy Valley Creek Bridge.
Sadly, one person was located deceased at the scene.
SH58, Dunback-Morrisons Road remains closed while the Serious Crash Unit conducts a scene examination.
Motorists are advised to take an alternate route and expect delays.
