Queenstown Police are asking motorists to avoid Glenorchy – Queenstown Road and the Crown Range following inclement weather.
Glenorchy – Queenstown Road is currently closed while authorities work to clear a landslide. The road is closed from One Mile Roundabout to Sunshine Bay.
Police are on site along with FENZ and the local council who are working to clear the debris and to assess the damage to the road.
Currently there are no reports of damage to residential properties.
Police are also advising motorists to avoid or delay travelling over the Crown Range as heavy snow is currently impacting the area.
