State Highway 1, Hundalee remains closed following an earlier crash.
The two-vehicle crash near the intersection with Claverley Road was reported at around 3:15pm.
Two people have been seriously injured, a third person sustained moderate injuries.
Motorists are advised to expect ongoing delays, and are asked to avoid the area where possible.
