The Reserve Bank of New Zealand – Te Pūtea Matua welcomes the elevation of Byron Pepper to the role of Deputy Chair of its Board. Mr Pepper was appointed by the Governor-General on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance for a term of four years, from 20 July 2026 to his current term end date of 30 June 2030.
