Police are seeking information as part of an investigation into an aggravated robbery at a Three Kings bar on Sunday night.

Six offenders entered the bar on Mount Albert Road just before 10pm.

Detective Senior Sergeant Anthony Darvill, Auckland City West Area Investigations Manager, says some of the offenders were carrying weapons.

“All six arrived in a stolen vehicle, quickly entering the bar and targeting cash on site,” he says.

“The offending was over within minutes, but one patron inside has needlessly been assaulted on multiple occasions by some of the group.

“The patron suffered a minor injury and was shaken by this violent event.”

All six offenders fled in the dark coloured Nissan Tiida.

Detective Senior Sergeant Darvill says the stolen vehicle was located in the nearby area early this morning.

“I’m asking anyone who was travelling along Mount Albert Road at the time and saw anything untoward to contact Police,” he says.

“The violence on display is unacceptable, and our investigators are working to identify this group and hold them accountable.”

If you can assist Police, please update us online now or call 105 using the reference number 260705/0339.
