Cromwell Police investigating a burglary at a commercial address in Tarras last weekend are seeking information from the public.
The burglary on the corner of Jollys Road and Deep Creek Road occurred sometime between 5pm Friday 19 June and 7am Monday 22 June.
A number of items vital for day-to-day operations were taken, as well as around 1000 litres of fuel.
We understand these offences are extremely frustrating for business owners and are urging anybody with information to come forward and talk to Police.
We are seeking information from anybody who witnessed suspicious activity in the area over that weekend, as well as any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area that could assist with our investigations.

- Park vehicles with fuel caps close to the wall or another vehicle to restrict access to fuel tanks.
- Try to keep fuel out of sight, and ensure fuel tanks are secured and locked to restrict theft and tampering.
- Install security lighting that lights up fuel tanks and fuelling areas.
- Keep an inventory of fuel consumption so any thefts can be identified quickly.
- Install fuel tank locking devices on all petrol and diesel tanks on your property.
