The bridge over Tutaekuri River on State Highway 51, Awatoto is down to one lane following a crash this morning.
Police were advised at 11.10am that a truck had collided with the side of the bridge. The truck driver was uninjured.
Traffic management is in place until the truck can be moved. Motorists are advised they should delay travel or take an alternative route where possible.
