State Highway 6 is closed following a serious crash on the Kawarau Bridge this morning.
Police were called to the three vehicle crash at around 11.45am.
Two people are in a serious condition and three people received minor injuries.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
The road is closed while emergency services are at the scene.
Motorists are advised to delay travel or take an alternate route.
