Police can now name the man who died after a crash on Poihipi Road, Wairakei, on Sunday 31 May.
He was Whetumarama Brian Richards, 32, from Taupō.
Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this difficult time.
Enquiries into the crash are ongoing.
