Media Advisory: Police Patrol Dog Graduation 13 December

New Zealand Police is hosting a graduation for the latest Patrol Dog Course today Wednesday December 13 at 1pm.

Attending the ceremony will be Deputy Commissioner Chris De Wattignar, Police Minister Hon Mark Mitchell, along with members of the Police executive.

Handlers and their dogs will be celebrating their achievements in front of whānau and friends. Graduating from this Patrol Dog course are eight operational teams from Northland, Tāmaki Makaurau, Waikato, Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne.

Media are invited to attend the prizegiving which starts at 1pm at the Police Dog Training Centre, Dante Road, Trentham.
