Summary

This publication provides insights into the discussions and presentations at the Australia and New Zealand Summit on the Value of Allied Health held online in August 2022.

Presenters from across allied health professions in Australia and New Zealand came together for two days to discuss how they and their teams make a difference in their communities. Most projects were multi-disciplinary and demonstrated how they took pressure off waiting lists and/or improved service delivery. All projects improved the health of their patients.

Associate Professor Peter Larmer, and Senior Advisor Edie Taylor summarised this virtual event, and pulled out key themes and important lessons that could be used across different specialties and professions.
