Police seek witnesses to crash, Hamilton

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed a crash on Te Rapa Road, Hamilton at around 7.24pm on 30 January.

A Toyota Starlet was travelling south on Te Rapa Road from Pukete intersection.

The Starlet collided with a scooter and stopped for a moment before leaving the scene and traveling north on Te Rapa Road.

The scooter rider suffered injuries and was transported to hospital, but has since been discharged.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw the Toyota Starlet or witnessed the crash.

Anyone with dashcam footage of the incident is also asked to please come forward.

The vehicle was last seen turning onto Garnett Avenue.
