People are advised to plan ahead for delays of up to 20 minutes when travelling on State Highway 3 through Tariki tomorrow (Friday 14 October).

Downer, on behalf of Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, will be making urgent repairs to the road surface between the hours of 9am and 2pm to avoid peak traffic times.

Work will be carried out under stop/go traffic management, with delays of approximately 10-20 minutes. Traffic queues will be closely monitored throughout the works to ensure delays do not exceed these timeframes. Traffic management, including temporary speed limits, on the site is expected to be removed by Sunday 16 October.

Waka Kotahi apologises for the ongoing disruption and thanks motorists for their patience while these works are undertaken.
