Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is advising motorist that the Te Puke Highway, near Pah Road, will be reduced to a single lane on Monday 18 July.

The lane closure is needed to allow contractors to safely repair the road surface and shoulder.

To minimise delays for motorists, manual stop/go controls will be in place to allow contractors on the ground to actively monitor and manage traffic.

The work is planned to take place on Monday 18 July, between 9am and 4pm, and is weather dependant.

Waka Kotahi is urging drivers to take extra care when travelling through the site and ensure their own safety and the safety of road workers by complying with the temporary 30km/h speed limit, and following the directions of traffic management staff.

Waka Kotahi thanks motorists for their patience while we undertake this important safety work.
