1 November 2021 – Reserve Bank Governor Adrian Orr will be delivering a speech on 2 November, virtually, at the Property Council of New Zealand Retail Conference 2021.
The speech is titled: Housing Matters
The speech focuses on the unsustainable level of house prices. It will explain why the bank cares about the concentration of risk associated with housing and the current drivers of house prices.
He will give the speech the day before our latest Financial Stability Report.
The speech will be published at 9:30am on Tuesday 2 November on the RBNZ website.
