This month of Mahuru (September) we are offering 3 whakapapa research sessions each Friday from 1pm to 2pm.

Friday 10 September will be bilingual.

Friday 17 September will be bilingual.

Friday 24 September will be in te reo Māori anake (fully in te reo Māori). 

The facilitators for the sessions are the Poukōkiri Rangahau Māori (senior Māori research librarians), Raniera Kingi (Ngāpuhi – Ngāti Ruamahue, Ngāti Kura) and Xavier Forsman (Ngāpuhi, Te Rarawa).

This Hui Topa (Zoom session) is suitable for those new to whakapapa research, who are discovering Māori ancestry and genealogy hobbyists.

These presentations are suitable for adults.
