Featuring renowned New Zealand pianists Maria Mo, Chin Yeh, Justin Bird and Ludwig Treviranus, we are proud to present Piano Extravaganza, featuring two double concerti; one from the romantic period and the classical period.
What makes this concert special is not only that double piano concertos are not often programmed nowadays, but the fact that each of these pieces is paired with an orchestral work from the same era performed by the Wairua Sinfonietta, so as to make the musical experience complete.
Come along to an extraordinary evening of Piano Extravaganza to indulge in an enchanting musical encounter in the intimate setting of St Matthew-in-the-City on 25 September.
We believe in supporting local charities, just as we believe in supporting local musicians.
As always, we have chosen a charity that is near and dear to our hearts. Profits from this concert will be going towards the Huntington’s Disease Association (Auckland), a non-profit charity supporting individuals and families affected by Huntington’s Disease.
The Association aims to raise public awareness and provide information about Huntington’s Disease and the situation of those who experience it in New Zealand.
