Head underground for Interesting Places: The Subterranean Sessions, a series of intimate performances from phenomenally talented artists at Fortress Stony Batter on the eastern side of Waiheke Island.
Join Hollie Fullbrook, better known as Tiny Ruins, Finn Andrews from The Veils, Deva Mahal and Delaney Davidson who will each be playing stripped back sets featuring just voice, guitar or piano in the fortress’s magazine chamber – a sublime space with incredible acoustics.
Make your way to this coastal fortress – a 1.2km network of subterranean tunnels – on the eastern side of this popular Hauraki Gulf island to experience four of Aotearoa’s best loved voices as they perform these magical matinee performances.
Built during World War Two, these historic tunnels have only recently been re-opened to the public and this series of enchanting gigs will be among the first musical performances to take place in the space. Please note, each performance has a capacity of 50 people so book now to avoid disappointment.
