Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 9 April 2021 Please note this traffic bulletin is updated every Friday.

Unless otherwise stated, closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am.

NORTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)

  • Orewa northbound off-ramp, 6-7 April
  • Silverdale northbound off-ramp, 6 April
  • Upper Harbour Highway northbound off-ramp, 5-8 April
  • Southbound lanes between Northcote Road off-ramp and Northcote Road on-ramp, 7 April 
    (approx. 10:00pm to 5:00am)
  • Northcote Road northbound off-ramp, 6-8 April
  • Northcote Road southbound on-ramp, 6 April
  • Onewa Road northbound off-ramp, 7 April
  • Shelly Beach Road southbound off-ramp, 6-8 April

CENTRAL MOTORWAY JUNCTION (CMJ)

  • None planned

SOUTHERN MOTORWAY (SH1)

  • Northbound lanes between Greenlane and Symonds Street, 5-8 April (approx. 11:00pm to 5:00am)
  • Gillies Avenue northbound on-ramp, 5-8 April
  • Greenlane northbound on-ramp, 5-8 April (approx. 10:00pm to 5:00am)
  • Mt Wellington Highway southbound on-ramp, 6-8 April
  • East Tamaki Road southbound off-ramp, 6-7 April (approx. 10:00pm to 5:00am)
  • Takanini southbound off-ramp, 6-8 April
  • Southbound lanes between Takanini off-ramp and Papakura on-ramp, 5 April (approx. 11:00pm to 5:00am)
  • Takanini southbound on-ramp, 5 April
  • Northbound lanes between Drury/SH22 off-ramp and Papakura on-ramp, 6-8 April
  • Drury/SH22 northbound on-ramp, 6-8 April

NORTHWESTERN MOTORWAY (SH16)

  • None planned

UPPER HARBOUR MOTORWAY (SH18)

  • Westbound lanes between Paul Mathews Road and Albany Highway on-ramp, 8 April
