Join the Health Quality & Safety Commission in celebrating the work and achievements of the hospital sector to improve their recognition and response systems since 2016.
During this virtual hui, you will hear how hospitals have strengthened their systems through using clinical tools, establishing Kōrero mai and supporting clincians, patients and whānau with shared goals of care discussions. We’ll also be exploring the role of nurse-led outreach teams and how the maternity early warning system has made improvements to the care of pregnant or recently pregnant women.
Who should attend?
The main attendees will be clinical staff (medical, nursing, midwifery) and other health professionals that maybe involved in the care of deteriorating hospital patients. We also welcome consumers and whānau interested in patient deterioration.
