Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises road renewal works will start on State Highway 3 Inglewood South between the Brookes Street and Dudley Road intersections tomorrow, Wednesday 10 February.
Work will take place Monday – Saturday, between 7am and 7pm for six weeks, weather dependant. No work will be undertaken on Thursday 25 February, due to the Americarna event.
Traffic heading north will continue to use SH3, but signposted detours will in place for motorists traveling south on SH3 and those travelling north along Tarata Road.
Businesses in central Inglewood will remain accessible for the duration of the works.
There will be no access from SH3 to Tawa Street, or vice versa, during the works.
