The Health Quality & Safety Commission’s advance care planning programme held a two-day virtual hui on 2–3 December for people working in the health care sector.
Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive; attendees were pleased with the high calibre and relevance of the presentations, calling the event a ‘resounding success’.
The hui was an engaging two days of discussions and exploration about our role in making what matters most to our patients and their whānau the centre of health care planning and delivery. A fully online event, it was the only national hui about advance care planning and shared decision-making.
If you were unable to attend the hui, registration has been re-opened at a substantially-reduced rate, with unlimited access until 30 January 2021. Registration will give you access to all of the session recordings including the live Q&A sessions and workshops featuring talks by Kathryn Mannix, Hector Matthews, Rachelle Bernacki, Josh Lakin and Jo Paladino.
