Graduating Art and Design students’ work has been showcased in a virtual exhibition for the first time.

A student-led team designed and developed AD20, a website to showcase work of graduating Art and Design students. The site highlights award winning work with quality images and details about the design thinking and practice-led research behind each work.

“This is the first year we’ve done a virtual exhibition of our graduating students work,” says Dr Andrew Withell, Head of the School of Art and Design. “I’m incredibly proud not only of the work of our graduating students, but of the work of our student-led team, directed by Aimee Preston, Managing Director of The Draft in pulling this virtual exhibition together.”

The website showcases the work of 500 students, across 120 fields, eight departments and two campuses.

This work is the culmination of an educational journey that celebrates the ambitions, successes, and creative expressions of our students.

From a raft of disciplines and advancing a range of creative practices, these works showcase visions for a richer, socially innovative, technically astute and critically attuned future. Their work testifies to the abilities necessary to remaking a difficult world they inherit anew.
