The Health Quality & Safety Commission’s sixth annual quality improvement scientific symposium planned for October 2020, has been cancelled.

In place of the symposium, the Commission will host a series of virtual lunchtime sessions during February 2021. The sessions will be recorded for later viewing.

The February theme is: Who’s in the room? Engaging everyone from consumers to the governance board in quality improvement and patient safety.

Details of each of these virtual lunchtime sessions will be released over the coming months.

The one-day Scientific Symposium will return on 17 November 2021 in Christchurch.
