30 June 2020

The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) has today released two documents that together set out how the regulator will measure and report on progress against its performance measures and targets.

The Statement of Intent 2020-2024 (SOI) explains how the FMA will measure progress towards achieving its medium-term strategic intentions, while the Statement of Performance Expectations 2020/21 (SPE) sets out annual non-financial performance measures and financial forecast.

The reports should be read together to understand the FMA’s performance measures and reporting framework.
