This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) defines the relationship between Hāpai Te Hauora and Immunisation Advisory Centre (IMAC), a business unit of Auckland UniServices Limited.
The partnership will provide guiding principles for this relationship to achieve improved health outcomes and reduced inequities for Māori and other minority populations. Through our work we intend to empower tamariki, mokopuna and whānau to better engage in leading their own wellness journeys. As well as to work collaboratively to create a safe and healthier environment for communities to ensure whānau are well informed about vaccine preventable diseases; the benefits and risks of immunisation; and have access to appropriate services which offer effective immunisations.
Both parties are committed to enhancing an environment of responsiveness to the Te Tiriti o Waitangi nationally.
We are holding the signing ceremony Wednesday 17th June, at 2pm, at the Hāpai Te Hauora Boardroom, Level 1, 6-8 Pioneer Street, Henderson.
