Survive.

Around the world our teams are distributing hygiene materials to help children and their families protect themselves from coronavirus. We’re also sharing essential information so families are accurately informed about how to stay healthy.

In Bangladesh, we are working in the Rohingya refugee camp to repair toilets, set up handwashing points and improve sanitation. We are also adapting our existing health facilities including setting up a health centre with temporary isolation beds for coronavirus patients.

In Sudan, we are using vehicles with loudspeakers to share vital advice around preventing the spread of the virus in remote communities.

So far, we have distributed 5,000 masks to health facilities, built handwashing stations in refugee camps and supplied 1,200 litres of disinfectant to our local offices. We are also sending awareness messages via text message and have already reached 3.5 million people.
