Court of Appeal releases decision on Trans-Tasman Resources Limited application to extract and process iron sand within the South Taranaki Bight.
The Court of Appeal has today released its decision on the appeals against the High Court decision quashing the EPA decision to grant marine consents to Trans-Tasman Resources Limited (TTRL). TTRL had applied to carry out an offshore iron sand mining operation in the South Taranaki Bight.
We are now carefully considering the decision, and will not be making any further comment at this stage.
