Create your own Toki out of beef bone.

This tikanga-based contemporary workshop will introduce you to various carving and design processes.

Develop a new technical skill set using files, drills and polishing tools.

You will also have the option of adding a Paua shell insert.

Experiment with both wet and dry sanding techniques to finish off your taonga.

During this workshop participants will also learn traditional lashing and binding techniques used in Māori Object art.

Class 12 max.

Materials included.

Please bring a plate of kai for a shared lunch.
