Queensland manufacturers have been given extra time to apply for the Queensland Manufacturing AI Uplift Trial Program, with expressions of interest closing COB Friday 6 November 2026.
The program provides up to $250,000 as 80% co-funding into fully delivered AI services to eligible manufacturers. ARM Hub engineers will work directly with successful businesses to identify a practical AI use case, then build, deploy and measure the solution.
Who should apply
The program is open to Queensland manufacturers with:
- Between five and 500 full-time equivalent staff
- At least half of those staff based in Queensland
- At least two years’ continuous operation in Queensland
- A clear AI use case and a practical pathway to deployment.
At least one Flagship Project will be awarded to a regional Queensland manufacturer, defined as a business located outside Greater Brisbane.
What happens next
Shortlisted applicants will work with ARM Hub to develop an AI roadmap at no cost. A joint ARM Hub and Queensland Government panel will then assess the roadmaps and select the Flagship Companies, who will share in up to $750,000 in co-funding support.
Key dates:
- EOI closes: COB Friday 6 November 2026
- Shortlisted companies announced: By end November 2026
- Roadmaps delivered: November-December 2026
- Flagship Companies announced: By end January 2027
- Projects commence: March 2027
Don’t leave it to the last day!
With the FINAL deadline confirmed as 6 November, manufacturers interested in applying should find out more, review guidelines and submit their EOI early via ARM Hub: Queensland Manufacturing AI Uplift.
