Northland Regional Council will be taking part in the Kerikeri Garden Safari on 31 October and 1 November, helping gardeners identify and manage pest plants that can threaten Northland’s environment. Visitors can find the NRC team at Garden 10, 2 Kerikeri Inlet Road, Kerikeri, between 9.30am and 4pm on both days. The team will be on hand to answer questions about weeds, provide practical advice on control options, and help people identify invasive species in their own gardens. Pest plants can spread beyond property boundaries and impact native ecosystems, so early identification and management is important.
