Wansbeck Street, Oamaru is closed at the intersection with Awamoa Road following a crash.
Emergency services were called to the crash involving a car and a motorbike just before 2pm.
The motorbike rider has sustained serious injuries.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
