Emergency services are at the scene of a serious single-vehicle crash on the Waikato Expressway near Whangamarino, northbound, between the Rodda Road on-ramp and the Hampton Downs off-ramp.
Initial indications are that one person may be seriously injured, and others may have sustained moderate injuries.
Currently all four lanes of the expressway are closed at the scene, which may cause significant delays.
Diversions are in place.
Please be patient and obey any directions from traffic management personnel or emergency services staff.
