Emergency services are responding to a crash on Mangakahia Road, Titoki, where a car has hit a power pole.
The single-vehicle crash was reported to Police at 11.40am.
Titoki Road is closed between McCardle and Tokiri Roads as the power lines have come down.
One person has suffered minor injuries.
Police are advising motorists to avoid the area and expect delays while the scene is cleared.
