Emergency services are at the scene of a serious crash that has blocked State Highway 93, between Mataura and Clinton, tonight.
The two-vehicle collision was reported to Police about 7pm, and happened between Range and Kaiwera roads.
One person is being flown to Dunedin Hospital with critical injuries.
The road will remain closed while the Serious Crash Unit carries out a scene examination. Diversions are in place and motorists should allow extra travel time.
