Police investigating the homicide of Nathaniel Sturmey in Lower Hutt have executed a number of search warrants across the Wellington region as enquiries into his death continue.
Detective Inspector Jamie Woods, Wellington Police Field Crime Manager, says the investigation team is making significant progress.
“The team is making great progress and there are a number of persons of interest we are focused on, including some known to Nathaniel,” Detective Inspector Woods says.
“Thanks to those who have spoken with us – anyone else who has information and has not yet talked with us please get in touch.”
As part of ongoing enquiries, Police are seeking sightings of a black 2010 Nissan Qashqai in and around the Waterloo area of Lower Hutt on the night of Wednesday 8 April and the early hours of Thursday 9 April, as well as in the Naenae area on Sunday 12 April.
We are also seeking sightings of a grey 2007 Audi A4 in and around the Waterloo area on the night of Wednesday 8 April and the early hours of Thursday 9 April.
