WEED WORKSHOPS – REGISTER NOW!
Northland Regional Council’s annual series of weed workshops are happening around the region during August, in Kaitaia, Kerikeri, Kaikohe, Whangārei, Mangawhai and Rawene.
The three-hour workshops are free and traditionally a drawcard for home gardeners, members of community/restoration groups and contractors.
They’re hands-on and delivered in a relaxed and fun way to help people learn how best to tackle a wide variety of nasties, including wild ginger, lantana, moth plant, Taiwan cherry and privet.
