Police investigating the reported theft of a vessel from Ahuriri are seeking the public’s assistance.
Sometime between 7pm and 8pm on Thursday 18 June and, the boat was taken from a commercial location on West Quay.
The vessel is a 2023 silver Stabicraft named “Mighty Pelican” and was on a silver boat trailer with the registration 653M8.
A white Nissan Navara double cab ute was seen entering the premises at around 7:50pm on the Thursday evening, and we’re keen to hear from anybody who has information, or footage regarding this vehicle, or its movements on the night.
Additionally, we’re appealing to anyone who has seen the vessel and trailer since it was reported stolen, as well as the white Nissan Navara ute.
