Emergency services are responding to a serious crash between a vehicle and truck in Wainui this afternoon.
The crash, on Wainui Road, was reported to Police at about 4.15pm.
One person has received critical injuries.
Wainui Road is blocked and diversions are in place between Upper Orewa Road and Windmill Drive.
Motorists are advised to expect delays or seek an alternative route.
The Serious Crash Unit has been advised.
