Diversions are in place on Mount Wellington Highway, Mount Wellington following a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Emergency services were called to the crash, near the intersection of Penrose Road, at around 11.20am.
One person has been transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Diversions are in place via Roslyn Road for southbound vehicles.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
The Serious Crash Unit has been notified.
