Motorists travelling on State Highway 2 in Wellington are being advised to take extra caution on the road this afternoon.
SH2 is impacted both directions by flooding and rockfall, between Ngauranga and Aotea Quay southbound, and just before Petone northbound.
Drive to the conditions and remember your following distances.
Please avoid all unnecessary travel.
