The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) – Te Pūtea Matua has opened consultations on six draft standards and a package of crisis preparedness policies for deposit takers. The consultations are the latest step in RBNZ’s implementation of the most significant regulatory reform for the sector in decades, the Deposit Takers Act 2023 (DTA).
