State Highway 58 is now closed to westbound traffic between Postgate Drive and the Paremata Roundabout following a slip this morning.
The slip was reported around 10am. Road crews are at the scene assessing the slip and working to clear the westbound lane.

The highway remains open to eastbound traffic and alternative local road routes are available for people heading to Plimmerton and Porirua.
Winter driving conditions are affecting the wider Wellington region, and a snowfall warning remains in effect for State Highway 2 Remutaka Hill for this afternoon through until this evening.
Road users must drive to the conditions and take extra care on the roads. They should also check road and weather conditions before they travel.
