Excellent wines that support Taylors’ commitment to Project Seahorse

Highly acclaimed, family-owned Australian wine producer Taylors has launched two new SKUs within its Promised Land range in the New Zealand market – Taylors Promised Land Rosé 2022 and Taylors Promised Land Chardonnay 2022.

Taylors Promised Land Rosé 2022 is light-bodied, dry style rosé, while Taylors Promised Land Chardonnay 2022 is an un-oaked chardonnay with great acidity. With the addition of these two latest SKUs, New Zealand consumers will now have eight Taylors Promised Land SKUs to choose from. Other products within Taylors Promised Land portfolio include: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Merlot, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Shiraz Cabernet, and Shiraz.

Every bottle of Taylors’ wines bears a seahorse emblem, a nod to of the discovery of fossilised seahorses on their vineyard – a remnant of an ancient inland sea. The seahorse is also proudly prominent on the labels of the Taylors Promised Land wine range, highlighting Taylors’ dedication to their partnership with Project Seahorse – a marine conservation project focused on saving seahorses, which are pivotal for helping to preserve marine life and save the oceans for future generations.

Pioneering research by Project Seahorse has identified that saving seahorses is about more than just looking at the species in isolation. Setting up marine protected areas, reining in negative fishing practices, and regulating wildlife trade can also support thousands of other marine species.

For every bottle of Taylors Promised Land purchased, consumers can help to support Taylors ‘promise to the seas’ and their campaign to ‘Unscrew the Ocean’ to protect marine habitats around the world.

Justin Taylor, third-generation family member, Company Director, and Global Key Accounts Manager, said: “We’re thrilled to introduce Taylors Promised Land Chardonnay and Rosé to the New Zealand market.  In addition to providing consumers with a fabulous wine at a great price point, our Promised Land range of wines help to support our sustainability efforts with our partners at Project Seahorse. Great wine for an amazing cause – a win on all fronts.”

Taylors has been proudly handcrafting standout wines in Australia since the late 1950s. Taylors believes that the finest wines are those that are made with dedication and care, and above all, their imperative is to ‘respect the fruit.’ It is this dedication to excellence, which has earned Taylors significant recognition in the wine industry, demonstrated by the wealth of awards that it has won across its diverse wine portfolio.

Taylors Promised Land Chardonnay 2022 and Taylors Promised Land Rosé are available nationwide from liquor stores and supermarkets across New Zealand priced from $16.99.
