State Highway 53 Tauwharenīkau Bridge repairs complete – highway and bridge to reopen tomorrow

NZTA/Waka Kotahi and the Wellington Transport Alliance can confirm work to repair the Tauwharenīkau Bridge on State Highway 53 is almost complete.

The bridge and section of state highway is due to be fully open from tomorrow evening (Saturday) as work crews have managed to finish the project ahead of schedule.

Moroa Road will also be open to local road traffic from tomorrow evening as well.
