NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) is advising motorists that the Churton Park southbound off-ramp on the Wellington urban motorway will be closed between 9pm tonight (Thursday 18 April) and 4.30am tomorrow (Friday 19 April) for essential resurfacing work.

Drivers who would normally use the Churton Park southbound off-ramp will need to take an alternative route.

Drivers are advised to:

  • Use the Takapu Road off-ramp for Tawa and travel to Churton Park via Middleton Road
  • If drivers miss this off-ramp, instead they can take the Johnsonville off-ramp and travel to Churton Park via Middleton Road

NZTA thanks drivers for their patience and asks everyone to comply with temporary traffic management measures while this important resurfacing work is completed.
