Reserve Bank of New Zealand publishes Briefing for the Incoming Minister (BIM) & FEC appearance

7 February 2024 – The Reserve Bank of New Zealand – Te Pūtea Matua has published its Briefing for the Incoming Minister (BIM).

The BIM is a formal report that government agencies provide to new ministers when they take up a portfolio.

Upcoming Finance and Expenditure Committee hearings

On Monday 12 February at 1:30pm, General Manager for Financial Stability Christian Hawkesby, and other senior RBNZ staff will appear before Parliament’s Finance and Expenditure Committee to discuss the November 2023 Financial Stability Report.
 
This will be followed by an FEC Annual Review hearing which will be attended by Reserve Bank Board Chair Neil Quigley, Governor Adrian Orr, and other senior RBNZ staff.
