State Highway 6 is currently closed at Kaituna, north of Mathers Road, as emergency services and roading contractors attend a truck crash.

The incident, which has seen a logging truck roll, was reported just after 12.30 this afternoon. Emergency services and Waka Kotahi contractors are attending.

Logs are on the road and need to be removed.

Drivers should avoid the area or delay their travel. No local road detours are available, and drivers travelling between Blenheim and Nelson can expect delays until the crash site is cleared.
