Overseas merchandise trade statistics provide
information on imports and exports of merchandise goods between New Zealand
and other countries.
Key facts
April 2023 monthly values are actual and
compared with April 2022.
- Goods exports rose $641 million (10 percent),
to $6.8 billion. - Goods imports rose $683 million (12 percent),
to $6.4 billion. - The monthly trade balance was a surplus of
$427 million.
